I'm a product and design leader based in Melbourne, Australia.

I spent seven years working independently on branding, websites and typography. Lonsdale, my first retail typeface, came out of that period. Disco Cowboy, a second face, is in progress now. I also write and play music as Major Plains; the first record, Big City Blinking, came out in 2021.

For the last three and a half years I've been at a genetics company in a hybrid product management and design leadership role. The craft and the product work aren't separate disciplines for me. The same attention that goes into a typeface is the attention that goes into a feature.
